Exclusiv Vodka Rated 90 Points by Beverage Tasting Institute

The Beverage Tasting Institute has rated Exclusiv Vodka from Moldova a ‘best buy’ and awarded the distinct Vodka a 90-point rating in the International Review of Spirits on Tastings.com. Tastings.com is the website of The Beverage Tasting Institute. The official review from Tastings.com says, “Clear. Faint aromas of anise, dried citrus, and pastry with a soft, silky light-to-medium body and smooth milk, pepper, and herbal honeycomb notes on the long finish. Excellent smoothness and liveliness.”

Exclusiv Vodka is one of the fastest growing vodka brands on the market today. From the country of Moldova, the Vodka is proudly produced using the best quality winter wheat and finest distilling processes. The unique selling point about Exclusive Vodka is its price point. Unlike many other high-end vodka brands in the US, Exclusiv does not mark up its price for branding, advertising or packaging. The cost of a liter of Vodka is only about $13.00. An impressive price point for a vodka of its caliber.

The Beverage Testing Institute (BTI)—was founded in 1981, as America’s premier independent alcoholic beverage review organization with a mission to create fair and reliable reviews of wines for consumers. In 1994, BTI began reviewing beers and spirits and founded the World Beer Championships and the World Spirits Championships—now named the International Review of Spirits. BTI regularly reviews thousands of beverages every year.

Exclusiv Vodka is imported through Serge Imports, LLC and is available in NY, NJ, CT and FL through the Charmer Sunbelt Group (CSG), one of the nation’s leading distributors of fine wines, spirits, beer and other beverages. Who Put the ‘Dirty’ in the Dirty Martini?

Although the history of the martini is somewhat cloudy, we do know that the popularity of the martini skyrocketed after British Agent 007, James Bond, ordered a martini in the hit movie "Dr. No." T. But where did the ‘dirty’ come from?
Long before 007 ordered his now infamous martini drink, the Russians were making their favorite drink of choice, a mix of vodka and pickle brine or vodka and tomato brine. The brine was taken right from the jar and mixed with the vodka. This drink was considered a ‘morning remedy’ in Russia, kind of like the Bloody Mary is in the US. Ask any Russian and they will tell you that after a long night of partying, they would make themselves a drink with pickle brine and vodka—instead of a Bloody Mary. After all, who has the time or energy to look for horseradish and tomato juice when they have a hangover? This century old martini recipe traveled around the world, with each country creating its own version of the original. In the US, bartenders take olive brine straight from the jar….blending it with vodka to create a dirty version of 007’s martini. So you see, being dirty isn’t anything new. In fact, it’s sort of an old tradition.
